Centara renews its 526-room hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Centara has taken over the management of a 526-room hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The hotel, which previously operated as Holiday Inn Chiang Mai, has been renamed Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai.
Located close to the Old Town next to the Ping River and a 15-minute drive from Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), the hotel‘s rooms range in size from 45 to 223 square meters and feature bay windows. windows overlooking the city, Ping River and Doi Suthep.
Hotel facilities include a choice of F&B outlets, an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms and 14 multipurpose indoor spaces for events and meetings.

Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai is the group’s second hotel in the northern Thai city after Khum Phaya Resort & Spa which is a member of Centara Boutique Collection. The group’s third COSI-flagged Centara hotel is in the works and is expected to open in the first quarter of 2025.

Centara aims to expand its portfolio from 90 properties currently to approximately 200 hotels and resorts by 2026.
