Hilton launches Tapestry Collection hotel in France – Business Traveler

Hilton opened its first Tapestry Collection property in France, with a hotel located in Paris.

The Camille Paris Gare de Lyon hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is located in the 12e arrondissement, a five-minute walk from Gare de Lyon and a 15-minute walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre. It is also just one kilometer from Place de la Bastille.

The 56-room hotel features “elegant and timeless decor” in its public spaces and freshly renovated rooms and suites, a glass-roofed atrium, and a lobby lounge that serves a buffet breakfast and local dishes.

The Tapestry Collection brand debuted in Europe in June with the opening of Atocha Hotel Madrid, and is expected to expand into Europe in the coming months, with the upcoming Le Belgrand Hotel Paris Champs Elysées in Paris, Se Catedral Hotel Porto in Portugal and the Samuel Ryder Hotel in St Albans in the United Kingdom.

The group as a whole has grown in France, with plans for six new hotels across the country by the end of the year. The new Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton Tours Centers hotels will be Hilton’s first hotels in the Loire Valley region, while the Hilton Garden Inn Le Havre will join the portfolio later this year.

This follows the opening in May of La Canopée by Hilton Paris Trocadéro, a report on which will be the subject of the next November issue of Business trip.
