Historic 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton appoints Federico Ciampi as Managing Director


The 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton, based in South Kensington and owned and operated by Crimson Hotels, today announced the appointment of Federico Ciampi as Managing Director.

Federico will take over management of the historic hotel and oversee business strategies to promote hotel growth as the hospitality industry begins to regain momentum from the pandemic.

Coming from The Mayfair Townhouse, Federico has over 10 years of experience as Managing Director of luxury hotels around the world and over 20 years of experience in the industry. His skills as a General Manager can be attributed to his understanding of hotel management in a variety of contexts, from independent boutique properties to luxury hotels in the Middle East.

Ciampi’s dedication and expertise in the field is evident with the various awards it has received, as well as its previous hotels, including the “Rising Star Manager of the Year” award.

The 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel – London, Curio Collection by Hilton, is one of the unique and handpicked hotels in the Crimson hotel portfolio. The hotel was the former home of Victorian aristocrat William Henry Alexander and as such has been incredibly transformed into a hotel that embraces the building’s heritage, retaining much of its original 1870s architecture The 228-room hotel has eleven suites named after iconic British residents of Kensington such as Dame Agatha Christie and Alfred Hitchcock. In the heart of the district and close to attractions such as the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum, the hotel has three outlets, the W / A Kensington restaurant, the Botanica tea room and the ESQ, a lounge bar inspired by the Victorian era.
