Legoland Windsor is building a giant cake for the hotel’s 10th anniversary

A GIANT cake has been unveiled at Legoland Windsor as the hotel turns ten and has officially opened for 2022.

Standing four feet tall, the cake was built using 18,272 Lego bricks and was revealed to the public on March 18.

The model makers were seen applying the finishing touches, placing the last bricks and finishing the build with the number ten placed on the model.

with ten Lego candles included, the giant cake is now on display outside the 148-room Legoland Hotel.

Helen Bull, Division Director at Legoland Windsor Hotelnoted: We are well and truly in party mode this year, as we open the resort for our 2022 season.

“We have so much for families to do, from our new brick-building experience – The Brick – which will open in April, to the first anniversary of the UK’s first flying theater flight Flight of the Sky Lion in LEGO MYTHICA .”

Ms. Bull added: “The Legoland Resort Hotel is celebrating ten years since it opened in March 2012 and we are marking this milestone with a host of celebrations, including the unveiling of our giant Lego birthday cake.

“We look forward to welcoming families back to the resort again this year and hope that guests will join us at the resort very soon for a piece of real cake.”
